Job Description
The Elkhorn Recreation Department Intern will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day program operations during the summer. Main programs of focus will be Youth Baseball & Softball, Adult Softball, Sunset Camp, Sunset Pool and enrichment programs.

• 40% Baseball & Softball Coordination
• 20% Office Operations – Registrations/Social Media
• 20% Program Supervision
• 10% During Day Programming
• 5% Conduct Staff Evaluations
• 5% Special Events 

Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Sports Management, Physical Education or closely related field.

• Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Provide excellent customer service-Be professional and dependable
• Be able to work Monday – Thursday 11am – 7pm.
• Ability to work some night and weekend hours

Salary/Salary Range
$14.50 an hour
