Advancing the Recreation and Parks Profession
WPRA members are people like you, who are concerned about and interested in the advancement and growth of the recreation and parks profession. As a member of WPRA, you support the profession and help to promote the value of recreation and park services to all Wisconsinites. Membership means getting the information, experience, and educational opportunities you need to further your career and the profession. Qualified, knowledgeable professionals and informed citizens are the key to quality recreation and parks programs and services in Wisconsin.

  2010 Rates
Individual Professional $150.00
Departmental (2 members from agency) $130 per member
Group Agency (3 or more from agency) $125.00 per member
University/Faculty (up to 4 members from their agency. Additional members may join at Group agency rate of $115/person) $475.00
Emeritus

$50 one time initial fee,

then $25 annual fee

after first year

Office Support

$70 first member,

$60 each additional

member

Student (full time student in the field of Recreation/Parks/TR) $40.00
Non-Profit Organizational $225.00
Boards/Commissions (Max. of 10 members, $30 for each additional member) $380.00
Commercial $450.00

Membership in WPRA allows you to join one of seven special interest branches:

  Professional Branch
for members in Parks, Recreation or Therapeutic Recreation
University/Faculty Branch
for those employed at universities offering a Park and/or Recreation related curriculum
  Organizational Branch
for those employed in non-profit organizations with related interests
  Commercial Branch
for members in firms/companies interested in supporting the work of the Association
  Student Branch
for students enrolled and attending full-time in a college or university
  Lifetime Honorary Branch
is awarded to any current member who retires and who has a record of 10 years or more of WPRA membership
  Emeritus Branch
for retirees from the park, recreation, and allied leisure fields
  Office Support Staff
special membership open to permanent office staff employed in Park, Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation related agencies who have a current membership with WPRA
